Our History

The East Valley Human Resources Association was formed over 30 years ago as a "means to exchange information on matters of common interest within the humans resources discipline; to promote high professional standards and ethical conduct in the human resources field."

Creating high visibility in the community to advance greater recognition of the human resources function as an integral part of management, has been one of EVHRA's focused goals.

Today, EVHRA continues to serve the needs of members through proactive sourcing of timely information on trends in the field.

EVHRA serves approximately 100 human resources professionals representing about 70 organizations in the Valley spanning business, government, education, manufacturing, non-profit groups and financial institutions.

This chapter is affiliated with SHRM and has consistently received recognition through the Superior Merit Award for excellence in professional activities.
