A Letter from the Vice President of Membership

Thank you for your interest in the East Valley Human Resources Association (EVHRA).

The EVHRA is affiliated with the Society for Human Resources Management. We have achieved national and local recognition for our programs and resources for members in the Phoenix area. Our success is based on an active membership base of approximately 100 Human Resources professionals at the exempt level. The basic purpose of EVHRA is to promote high professional and ethical performance standards in the field of Human Resources. This is accomplished, in large measure, through the activities listed below:

• Lively monthly business meetings featuring qualified speakers on topical issues and trends
• Legislative updates including progress on proposed legislation affecting the Human Resources field
• Opportunities to participate in projects or subcommittees
• Unlimited opportunities to network with your peers on policies, practices and other topics of mutual interest

Meetings are the second Wednesday of the month at the Fiesta Inn Resort located at Broadway and Priest in Tempe. Meetings begin at 5:30 p.m. Our membership may occasionally elect to hold a breakfast meeting at 7:00 a.m. This change would be announced in advance.
