2009 Southwest Regional HRGames and Student Conference

Purpose:                The purpose of this scholarship is to provide one student the opportunity to attend the 2009 Southwest Regional Student Conference in Colorado with paid airfare and hotel from Friday, March 20, 2009 to Sunday, March 22, 2009.  The hosting university is TBA.

Eligibility Criteria:           Must be either enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student (12 credit hours) or a part-time graduate student (3 credit hours) during the Spring 2009 semester at an accredited university or college within Arizona.

 

Students who attend a college or university with non-traditional academic terms, such as a trisemester or an accelerated program, the credit hour requirements to determine full-time and part-time student status will be adjusted accordingly. 

 

Undergraduate students who are scheduled to graduate at the end of the Spring 2009 semester, but are enrolled part-time because a full-time course schedule is not required to complete his/her degree program, will be eligible to participate in this scholarship. 

 

Additional Information:    The scholarship winner will be required to give a presentation at a EVHRA professional chapter meeting of his/her experience of the Regional HR Games.  Also, the scholarship will reimburse up to $500 for air and hotel (tax and room only).  Receipts will need to be given to Nicole immediately upon return from the Regional HR Games and reimbursement will be given promptly.
