As noted in the May issue of our Chapter newsletter, the 2009 Arizona State SHRM Conference will be held on September 3rd and 4th in Tucson at the Sheraton El Conquistador. EVHRA is happy to announce that we will be offering THREE lucky individuals with sponsorships, which will provide for the payment of conference registration. Sponsorship applications must be received no later than May 31, 2009. To be eligible for these sponsorships, you must meet the following criteria:

• Required to have been an EVHRA member for a minimum of one year
• Must be an EVHRA member in good standing

Additional criteria that may be used for selection (if there are more applicants than available sponsorships):

 

 

• Members financial need
• Chapter/SHRM volunteerism (previous or current volunteer activity)
• Tenure within Chapter

The Board of Directors will meet on June 1st to consider all applications received by the May 31, 2009 deadline, including those received previously. If you have already registered and you are one of the lucky recipients of a sponsorship, EVHRA will reimburse members following the .

As a reminder, if you plan to attend the Arizona State SHRM Conference regardless of sponsorship funding, register before June 30th  for the discounted rate.
